I Can't Help It

Bill makes fun of me for feeling sorrow for people that I don't even know, but this just breaks my heart:

it's always a tragedy when anyone dies young. And even sadder he had a daughter that will never know him.

I agree with you, it is very sad...and his daughter who will read about it one day. Ick.

I sucked in a giant gasp when I saw this pop up on my Yahoo page.

So, so sad. And now, they clamor for reactions from his baby mama and that's just horrible -- I feel for her, too.

It is so sad. I know someone who knows them and it is very sad. Imagine losing somebody close to you that young and in addition to your grief having to deal with media and paparazzi in your face while you're trying to grieve.

I started crying when my friend told me the news over the phone.

Mason is pretty used to my reactions like that now...

But boy, this one through me for a loop

It's weird how we feel like celebrities are our friends, somehow. I felt sad when I read about this, too. I felt like I'd lost a friend when Steve Irwin (the Crocodile Hunter) died. Even Princess Diana's death was so sad, and I'm not a British royalty nut. I understand where you are coming from.
